Born on the streets of Gianyar in 2014

It started with one mangy puppy under a warung table. Founder Wayan and two vet friends paid for treatment from their own pockets. Word spread. Today Bali Pet Crusaders runs a rescue ambulance, a sterilization clinic in Ubud, two shelters (Ubud + Tegalalang) and a network of 140 foster families across Bali.

We focus on Bali's endemic street dogs — the ancient Kintamani lineage — plus abandoned pedigree dumps, beach puppies, and street cats. No healthy animal is ever euthanized. Every life gets a chance.

Found hairless, now a surf-shop mascot

Lucky had severe demodex, 9kg underweight. 4 months of medicated baths, high-protein diet and love. Adopted by a Canggu family, he now greets surfers daily. His vet bill was $380 — covered by donors.

5 kittens dumped in rice field

Found in a rice sack near Tegalalang. Bottle-fed every 3 hours, now all sterilized and adopted in pairs. We never separate bonded siblings — double joy, half the trouble!
